*Centenary Year Celebration of Tilak Tank at Deccan Gymkhana.*

The journey from Green Pool to 04 Bluewater Swimming Pools, producing swimmers & Waterpolo Players to make the nation proud.

The pool has been upgraded and offers a variety of sizes; an Olympic size of 50 meters and eight lanes, a newly built 25 meters pool with eight lanes, a baby pool of 25 meters with four lanes, and a special walking pool of 20 meters by three meters for aqua therapy.

All the Shiv Chatrapati Awardees and Players produced by Tilak tank were felicitated by the guest Doc. Deepak Tilak and Shailesh Tilak, Grandgrand son of B.N Bhajekar, Mr. Shrirang Raddi.

Deccan Gymkhana Cricket League 2022

Anil G. Ranade memorial Deccan Gymkhana Cricket League 2022 (DGCL 2022) kicked off on Tuesday, 19th April 2022 at 5 pm till 23rd April 2022.

We have 10 teams competing for the honor of winning the DGCL 2022 Trophy.

The Finals were played on Saturday, 23rd April 2022 at 7.00 pm.

Deccan Gymkhana was honored by Ravetkar Housing Group as the Title Sponsor of DGCL 2022 with Kotak Mahindra Bank and Puneet Balan Group as Associate Sponsors and Li Hospitality as Hospitality Partner.

Special thanks also to our member Dr.Anantbhushan Ranade s/o late Shri Anil G Ranade in whose memory the tournament has been named since its inception.

The event was organized and executed very well by the managing committee- Hon. Finance Secretary Mr. MIheer Kelkar, Mr.Vishwesh Katakkar, Cricket Dept. Secretary Mrugank Rathi.

Mr. Vikram Gokhale, marathi actor & Sponsorers attended the final match, and were felicitated by the Committee.

The championship was won by AQUA RIDERS Team against SNOW LEOPARDS and celebrated the victory:-

Honorary Membership & Felicitation to Ms. Bhavina Patel

Deccan Gymkhana feels proud to have India’s Paralympic Table Tennis sensation Ms. Bhavina Patel visit our Club and Offer her Honorary Membership. Felicitation of Ms. Patel was held at Table Tennis Hall on 24 October 2021 afternoon.

Ms. Bhavina Patel recently won Silver Medal and became the first-ever Indian paddler to win a medal at the Paralympics held in Tokyo.

Ms. Bhavina Patel visited Deccan Gymkhana with Rotary International and other Rotarians to interact and motivate our fellow Table Tennis players of our Club. DG Officials felicitated Ms. Patel for her achievement and offered Honorary Membership which she gracefully accepted. 

Deccan Gymkhana wishes her Good Luck in her future endeavors.

We take immense pleasure to announce the Second Edition of “DECCAN GYMKHANA TENNIS SOCIALS”
on the weekends of 16,17 and 23,24 October.

Heartiest Congratulations!!!

Deccan Gymkhana congratulates all the members who have achieved phenomenal results in various sports in tournaments held over the last few days and wishes best for their future endeavors.

Achievements as follows:-

1. Zeal Malani from Swimming Department, won 02 Gold Medals at 37th Sub-Junior Nationals at Bengaluru, in 100 Mtrs Breast-stroke & 50 Mtrs Breastroke. Best Wishes to Ms. Zeal & the Coach Swojas Godse.
2. State-level Invitational Basketball tournament by ABC club, U-12 Girls Championship Won and bagged a Trophy. The U-14 Girls Team as Runners Up and the U-16 Boys Team won the Championship too. Best Wishes to the Basketball team & the Coach.
3. ITF MSLTA Senior ranking Tournament at MSLTA Centre, Mumbai last week in which, Nitin Kirtane Won Double Crown in 45+ Singles and Doubles, Himanshu Gosavi Won Double Crown in 55+ Singles and Doubles and Radhika Tulpule Kanitkar Won Double Crown in 45+ Women’s Singles and Doubles.
