Jonty Rhodes – One of the finest International Cricketers of all times, Known as “God of fielding” also a fielding coach for Mumbai Indians for last nine consecutive years is personally holding this camps.
There shall be 03 Batches on our ground with Capacity of 40 Participants per batch:-

The fees for this camp shall be Rs 9,440/- (inclusive of GST) per Student.

27 October 2018, a Memorable Day, for Deccan Gymkhana and Cricket Department of Deccan Gymkhana in particular. All eagerly waited for Legend to arrive and as his reputation goes the Legend arrives on dot 10 AM driven by Sunandan Lele, an international fame Sports Reporter.
Legend was welcomed by Senior Members and Office Bearers. Sunny was very appreciative seeing the renovated Talim Pavilion and very well maintained Cricket Ground. Knowing his liking for nature and greenery, a tree plantation of Night Blooming Jasmine (Raatrani) was organized as per his choice.
Gavaskar went around the Pavilion to see the setup and was impressed seeing the various Trophies in kitty of Deccan Gymkhana and happily autographed a Cricket Bat which will remain as Memento of his visit.
He was very impressed with all the Sports Facilities available at Deccan Gymkhana seeing from Terrace of Club House Building. Tea with Gavaskar was attended by many Cricket Lovers where he fluently answered many tricky questions and gave a Live Demonstration of the Secret behind his Concentration related to Tea and Glucose Biscuits.
Aseem Foundation a Pune based NGO working in unstable border areas of India like J&K striving to reach out every man in those areas with a primary aim of education, skilled development, Social Entrepreneurship Development & Research and Awareness.
Aseem in-co-ordination with Deccan Gymkhana had organized an Under 17 T20 Cricket Match with a Team coming from Samba, a Border town of J&K.
Match was won by Deccan Gymkhana Team.
The match was attended by Lt Gen Vinayak Patankar (retd), Air Marshal Bhushan Gokhale (retd).
The match was inaugurated with a Toss by a Disabled Soldiers out of 04 from Paraplegic Rehabilitation center who were present for the entire function.
Sub Area Commander Major Gen Navneet Kumar who gave away the Prizes to both the Teams, Officials & a Memento to Deccan Gymkhana. A well-known Doctor & Writer Dr Alka Mandke was also present for the event & gave away the prizes.
