The Annual Felicitation Event, aimed at motivating and acknowledging the excellence achieved by the sports personalities associated with Deccan Gymkhana across various sporting disciplines, took place on February 24, 2024, from 05:00 PM onwards.
Distinguished sportspersons, veterans, and coaches who have showcased remarkable performance at the State, National, and International levels were honored during the event. The felicitation ceremony was presided over by Girish Inamdar Hon. General Secretary, and Mr. Miheer Kelkar, Honorary Finance Secretary, along with the esteemed presence of Mr. Veerdhaval Khade, a Arjuna Awardee & a renowned swimmer, as the Chief Guest. Notably, this recognition extended to specially-abled sportspersons as well.
The event witnessed a significant turnout, with members of Deccan Gymkhana, parents, and well-wishers gracing the occasion.
