Saturday, 10 Feb 2018 at 06.30 PM was the Momentous time for Deccan Gymkhana and particulary for Cricket Department. The auspicious was Inauguration of Historically important newly Renovated Talim Pavillion (Cricket Pavillion).
The Guest of Honor for the function was Indian Left Arm Pace Bowler, Mr. Karsan Ghavri, Grand son of Late. Mr. T.V. Talim, Mr. Suhas Talim, Adv Abhay Apte, President MCA and Mr. Riyaz Bagwan, Secretary MCA.
This function was attended by Cricket Lovers and Management Officials of Deccan Gymkhana. The Glimpses of the Function can be seen below.

Aseem Foundation an NGO working in Border Region of our Nation having a motto “Development Through Friendship” had approached Deccan Gymkhana with a request to Welcome one of the three living PARAMVEER CHAKRA AWARDEES SUBEDAR MAJOR YOGENDRA SINGH YADAV of GRENADIER REGIMENT OF INDIAN ARMY.
Deccan Gymkhana extended whole hearted support to organize a Welcome Ceremony on 20th Jan 2018. He was welcomed by Hon. General Secretary and honored with PUNERI PAGADI AND MAHAVASTRA. SUBEDAR MAJOR YOGENDRA SINGH YADAV, PVC took keen interest in visiting the Deccan Gymkhana premises and facilities.
The function was attended by Members of Aseem Foundation, Founder Lakshya Foundation Mrs. Anuradha Desai, Renowned Press Reporter Mr. Uday Nirgudkar & certain Kashmiri Locals from Kashmir Valley.
