Did you know our club played a pivotal role in India’s Olympic history? In 1920, under President Mr. Dorabjee Tata and with approval from Bombay’s Governor, Mr. George Lloyd, we hosted India’s first-ever Antwerp Olympics trials, setting the stage for our nation’s sporting journey. As the Paris Olympics approach, we are proud to announce an Olympic Festival at Deccan Gymkhana to honor this legacy and celebrate Paris Olympics 2024.
From July 26th to August 9th, 2024, our club celebrated the Olympic festival by hosting a series of programs, including talk shows by distinguished former Olympians and exciting sports events for our members.
