Conference Hall at Deccan Gymkhana

Deccan Gymkhana offers a well-equipped, air-conditioned Conference Hall ideal for meetings, workshops, and small gatherings. The hall includes audio-visual aids and an overhead video projector, and can comfortably accommodate up to 60 people.

The hall is available to Deccan Gymkhana members at nominal charges, based on availability.

Booking Eligibility

• Only Deccan Gymkhana members can book the hall for their guests.

• Non-members must provide a reference from an existing member to be eligible.

• Seating Capacity: Up to 60 persons

• Equipment Provided: Audio-visual system and overhead projector

• Charges: Based on usage (details available at reception)

Rules & Regulations

1. Security Deposit

• A refundable deposit of ₹2,500 is required along with hall rent.

• Any damage or loss will be deducted from the deposit before vacating.

2. Catering Policy

• Outside catering is not allowed.

• Lunch and dinner must be ordered through the Deccan Gymkhana Restaurant.

• Tea/snacks can be arranged through the Deccan Gymkhana Canteen.

• Food is not permitted inside the hall. A dining area adjacent to the hall will be arranged by the caterer.

3. Decorations & Lighting

• Additional decoration (flowers, balloons, banners/standees) is allowed at an extra cost of ₹500.

• Requests for halogen or extra lights can be made at the reception and will incur additional charges.

4. Music & Sound

• Loud music is not permitted. Volume must not exceed 53 decibels.

• Music is allowed only until 10:00 PM.

5. Parking Facility

• Parking passes are available at the time of booking, subject to availability.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• No cancellation or postponement will be entertained on the day of the function.

• In such cases, the entire booking amount will be forfeited.

• For advance cancellations:

  • More than 7 days before booking: 90% refund

  • 3 to 7 days before booking: 50% refund

  • 2 days or less: No refund

7. Conduct Responsibility

• The member hosting the event is responsible for the conduct of their guests and must ensure all rules are followed.
