Booking Guidelines

• Bookings are accepted only under member reference

• Arrangements are made upon confirmed booking and request

• A security deposit of ₹2,500 is mandatory along with the hall rent

• Any damage or loss will be deducted from the deposit before vacating

Catering Policy

• Outside catering is strictly not allowed

• Lunch and dinner must be catered through Deccan Gymkhana Restaurant

• Tea and snacks can be arranged through the Deccan Gymkhana Canteen

• Live food counters are not permitted inside the hall

• A dining area is available adjacent to the hall or can be arranged inside by the official caterer

Liquor Policy

• Liquor is not allowed by default

• Members may obtain a 1-day liquor license and submit it at the office to serve alcohol

• Corkage fee: ₹1,000

• Beer and soft drinks must be purchased from the club’s restaurant

Decorations & Lighting

• Basic decoration such as flowers, balloons, banners, and standees: ₹500 extra

• Charges for Halogens/Extra Lights (for functions or video shooting):

  • 3 hours: ₹500

  • 5 hours: ₹1,000

  • 8 hours: ₹2,000

• Projector charges (you may also use your own):

  • 4 hours: ₹885

  • 8 hours: ₹1,770

All charges above are inclusive of taxes.

Music & Conduct

• Loud music is not permitted (must be under 53 decibels)

• Music allowed only till 10:00 PM

• Hom–Havan or fire rituals are strictly not allowed

• Any misconduct or violation of club rules by guests will make the host fully responsible

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• No refund for same-day cancellations or postponements

• Cancellation refunds (excluding taxes):

  • More than 7 days before: 90% refund

  • 3 to 7 days before: 50% refund

  • 2 days or less: No refund
